Anybody try this finish for Padauk?

I was searching some woodworking sites and came across this:

A UV blocking oil finish.  I was thinking of possible using this on Padauk, then maybe putting Tru oil over top for a harder finish.  Does this seem feasible?

if it's good enough for boats, i don't see why tru-oil would be needed over it.    since i know little about padouk, you may need to grain fill

Just wondering if the Penofin will dry like Tru Oil does.

Not sure on a grain fill yet as there are 2 completely differnt colored woods: padauk and limba.

I would just like to keep the padauk red for as long as possible.
