Another prototype pickups test

So I decided to try the guitar with the prototype pickups through a different amp to see how it sounded, and I think it ended pretty well.  :icon_biggrin:

The backing track is from jamtrackcentral.com, and the amp used this time is my Carvin Legacy I head.  The playing is...meh...but I dig the sound.  No post-EQ on the lead track, and the delay was added in post.

I'm diggin' the rhythm sounds.  The lead tone sound like the Legacy workin' hard - which is a good thing, but doesn't really respond to the question  of "Hey, dudes, how do you like my pickups?"


I'm afraid my ear is not discerning enough to call out the details of the tone well enough to say anything beyond "If I wanted a set of pups to play hard rock with, those would be quite acceptable."
