I won an auction tonite for an off-brand Warlock.  Probably a crap guitar.  But it's a warlock.  My need was for an evil looking metal guitar for my band's Halloween gigs.

My costume is one I got off ebay, an evil winged demon.  No way could I play a tele, LP or Dot in it.  I needed something not just metal, but totally evil.  It had to be a Warlock.

And since I snagged the warlock for way cheaper than I planned...

I "buy-it-now'd" one of these too.

I know...  I know...  My band plays The B-52s, The Beatles, Sheryl Crow, etc.  Nothing heavier than Blondie or Cheap Trick.  But.. well..  What can I say, I'm a fan of Venom, early Celtic Frost, Hellhammer, and others from that silly genre.

Yes, its an insane sounding device.  And I will do a video demo of it as well... with a telecaster...  playing country licks....

Too bad I couldnt find one of these....

Wow. That pedals sounds awful in the video. It will actually be kind of interesting to hear you use it. Cool way-over-the-top costume ;D

Errr, I think "Black Metal" is SUPPOSED to sound like that.... And if you don't have a "vocalist", you can always have somebody strangle a ferret into a microphone!

I cant hear anything but mud. I know, some guys like that and more power to them.
My rule of thumb is the more gain the less tone.

Someone should make some acryllic candy corns to put on tuners.. and of course skull knobs.. maybe a strap that is a cape..  :evil4:

I know, I know... I've had to listen to my fair share of that stuff. It just baffles me that some people actually strive for that sound!

I hope the wings don't interfere with your strap.  I suppose you could just shoulder it.

I'm curious about the Warlock clone.  Are you swapping out the bridge pickup?

They arrived.  More to come...  And I got number 13 out of 666...  hehehehehe....  And I had fun with one of the stickers that came with the pedal.
