Hmmm.  Depends on how the volume pot is wired.  If it's wired the 'gibson' way (wiper is attached to the pickup), then you could have it all the way off and have a high impedance lead going to the amp - which would allow for the RF hash to come through.

If it's grounding or shielding, you can't turn that down.  The guitar is the intenna, not the pickups.

hmm i havent tried that yet. but can anyone make me a diagram for the grounding? my new guitar comes in tomorrow (YAY!!! :hello2:  ccasion14: :blob7:  :headbang:  :blob7:  ccasion14:  :hello2 and i DONT want this to happen again. i will be very angry. i'll even put on my --[size=10pt]DUN DUN DUUUUUUUN[/size]-- angry face.
