Acoustic/Electrics for under $700

Need to pick something up for gigging.  We have a few acoustic numbers in our sets.  I know a little but not a lot.  Part of the issue is that I'd never buy an acoustic used without playing it, so that narrows things and takes ebay out of the mix…
What do you like?

That's like buying a car under $20k. Sure its possbile to spend a lot more, but you certainly have a lot of options without going over it. If you're gonna run piezos, I wouldn't necessarily spend a boatload of money, cause it's gonna end up being a piezo anyway. Kind of the inverse of the far side cartoon with the dogs at the computer "the great thing about the internet, is no one knows you're a dog".  If I dumped a couple grand into an acoustic, I'd be a real prima dona about making sure it was mic'd. Otherwise you can buy decent piezo electrics for $500 all day long.

Could put some Graphtech Ghost saddles on whatever you're using as an electric now. Won't compromise its current sound; it'll just add the "acoustic" option. Makes life a lot easier for you, too. I wouldn't try to trick anybody with them for recorded work, but for live work, they're fine. The audience won't know any better.
