It is certainly beautiful but I hate  flame maple neck.
It's the most istabile wood in time (for a neck).
The best maple neck is q-sawn canadian hard rock maple.

Flame, bird's, quilt... are absolutely amazing, but at the moment, I think at the sound more than aesthetics
(all IMO, of course)

No, the industry standard grading system only goes to 5As. I've looked high and low and haven't found a definitive or authoritive source of information on the grading system, or any definition of what the grades are, so it must be some kind of secret. I did find this explanation, but it's from a private wood supplier, so take it for whatever it's worth.

Also, Warmoth 3A is what many places call 5A, and I've seen their basic luck of the draw flames looking like what Fender would call 3A. That's a big part of what makes them special, that their wood-selection guy is crazy.

All finished! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  The back has been polished with 2000 grit wet/dry abrasive and then it got several coats of boiled linseed oil and then a final polish with the polishing arbor and that thing looks and feels like glass. There is only gloss lacquer on the headstock and fretboard the sheen on the back is coming from the wood.

Luckily, Tonar is in California and I am in Arizona; right next door.  To be exact, 690.81 miles.
Can I trust the USPS  :dontknow:  I certainly hope so...

Excellent work as usual Tonar!  Did you have to do anything special to get the linseed oil and lacquer to play nice together?  For some reason i had it in my mind that they weren't compatible.

I did not have to do any thing special to use lacquer and boiled oil together. Many penetrating wood stains are linseed oil based so you just have to wait longer to start applying finish over it than you would if you were using dyes. I did the whole neck with oil to make it looks richer than I finish the headstock and fretboard with lacquer.  Once the lacquer is finished I start on the back which I leave unfinished and any boiled oil I get on the lacquered surface wipes right of because it can't penetrate the surface.

Remember this finish is not a warranty finish for Warmoth, but it sure is nice to touch and I have not had one go bad yet.
