for my Samsung TV. Born in the chaos that was Black Friday 2013 it had a short life but brought joy to all that it met.

Another moment of silence for the heat exchanger in my furnace inexplicably covered under warranty. Not sleeping nearly as deep since the carbon monoxide supply has been cut off.

I think they make those exchangers thinner than they used to in the interest of increased transfer efficiency, which means they rust out earlier.

Especially when you forget to clear the drain and the whole system gets flooded once or twice.

And its induction motor just went belly up.

Indy was a spirited lad who's life was cut short by the great furnace flooding of '17.

Wish Indy could'a stayed a little longer
But  all that water made him a goner

Not to hijack this thread but ...
I wish to report the demise of my oven's igniter

Iggy arrived in our house during the Great Kitchen renovation of 2015 and lived past his warranty, though to those who knew him, a short life, and probably terrifying, since he spent most of his time in the dark, punctuated by intense flames, and Actually I have to say, I hardly got to know him, which is probably just as well since his replacement has been ordered on line and will be arriving on Wednesday.

Iggy is dead, long live Iggy! :eek:ccasion14:
