My new band just put up a website, and we've added sound clips from our last practice (yesterday).  FWIW, I'm not the amazing player in the foreground.  I'm the quiet (semi-sucky) lead guitarist you can barely hear if you know what you're listening for (except during solos, you can hear me then).  He was playing a Tele through a Twin (on 3), whereas I was playing my Strat through a Super Champ (everything dimed).

I know there are people who aren't particularly fond of the genre in question, but if you could please give me some feedback on the overall vibe of the band I'd really appreciate it!

You guys sound like a good southern rock outfit, and fairly solid from what I can hear.

I know a Super Champ can't compete with a Twin, but the mix is still way out.  You and the keyboard player need to buy your sound guy dinner or something.  :laughing7:

Lol, that was just a practice we recorded, not a real gig.  I had the amp tilted on a stand, facing me and miked through the system.  On stage it sounded great, out front, not so much.  Also, there was no keyboard player.  The pics up there right now are actually from Kenny and Paul's (singer/drummer) last band.  We've only been together for about 3 weeks and haven't gigged yet, so Kenny put those up as place holders until we get real photos.

Our lineup is drums, bass, acoustic, and electric x2.

Lol, I've never played country before, never listened to it on the radio either.  I just really wanted to start gigging again, so when I saw a craigslist ad pop up, I answered it.  The rest is history.  I found out that as much as I hate listening to it, playing it is a whole other story.  It is SOOO different from playing rock or blues, but a lot of fun.
