I'm hearing some very tasty sc voicing along with the humbucker voicing.

You're quite right. Good ears  :icon_thumright:
It's a standard 3-way switch and the pickups are wired as normal in the bridge and neck positions (1 & 3 positions).
But I split each pickup in the middle position so it's the inner coils of each pickup wired in paralell. Hence the single coilish sound.

I like the sound of these pickups. That's a fine guitar. You turned it in front to back in the video. That gave a good look at it. Beautiful.
