Since I was still waiting for my pups for my first build (shipped to wrong address :sad1, and the November sale gave me the GAS so bad I lost all connection with reality - here goes my 2nd Warmoth build!

Just arrived -
Quilted Maple on Swamp Ash Strat body with a Wilkinson VS100.

Pau Ferro / Pau Ferro CBS Neck
Standard thin contour with ss6150 frets

I am totally in love with my first Pau Ferro neck! This thing feels sooooo good!

Think I'll go with black for all the hardware. What do ya think?

Plan to pull it together over Christmas once I get the "Honey Do" list done!

You must mean 'Sex on a stick' ie: Pau-Ferro
Aren't they just something else  I'm in love with Pau-Ferro, just stunning.

My Red Quilt Strat is similar colour to your's & I used a mix of Chrome & Black.

It's kinda funny, my son told me last night I should have gone with a Wenge/ebony neck and called it the "Black Widow"! It's a small world sometimes!

"Sex on a stick" I guess! This thing is pure wood porn! I'm afraid my wife gonna come in and catch me playing with my "stick"!

Pau Ferro necks are first class, no doubt. That's gonna be one fine looking/feeling/playing axe. And I heartily agree on the black hardware.

Hehe! Yeah. That neck would look good just sitting on the coffee table for a few months. Pick it up every once in a while and marvel at it. Start some conversations. Fondle it a bit. Fine piece of work, that one.

Well, I finally got a little time this weekend to finish up a few projects. THe first was this Strat.

Not the greatest pictures, but I thnk it turned out pretty good.
That neck is really addictive, but with the light chambered body the whole thing might feel just a bit neck heavy.
I went with BK Slow Hand pickups and it really sounds awesome.  :guitarplayer2:
