Here is my project!!

Vieja Hacienda Cigar Box- $30
6 Pack of Moose Drool Beer- $7.50
Red Oak neck- $4.00

so I have like $55 bucks left to spend on the hardware and pickup. I'm making good use of the cigars and the beer. :icon_jokercolor: The bottle cap is going to be the volume knob and the bottle neck is going to be a slide, if I can figure out how to get it off without killing myself. Any suggestions? :headbang:

Well Im going to use a 6 string pickup. It'll work but it won't be perfect.

definitely a cool build! i think the regular humbucker pickup would work just fine. you could also go with some sort of blade pickup. you could pick up a blade pickup somewhat cheap from GFS, but that might put more of a dent in the money you have left than you'd want. it'll be cool to see what this turns into!

Well, I think we have our next Guitar Of The Month winner.

ive made my own slides by CAREFULLY grinding a ring around the bottle with a dremel grinder wheel, till the glass is thin enough that you can gently *knock* it off. Its generally easy to do on a thinner beer bottle, but takes awhile with a bottle of Jack Daniels or Makers Mark.

This gets my vote, hands down, i love this!
