Disclaimer: No W parts were used in this build.
I've been working lately at developing a line of guitars to try my hand at being a builder. It's been ages since I've built a Warmoth, but once everything calms down I might just try my hand at a Warmoth Bass 6, but we'll see.
In any case. ...
I am going to convert an old Warmoth LP body to baritone, but 24 frets are the only option. I understand the need for the fretboard to cover the body for a body originally designed for a shorter scale, (that seems to have been covered in a suggestion from 2013) but I don't need all 24 frets, so...
Going through a lot of changes in my life and while I love this guitar, in it's current form it reminds me a bit too much of places and events I've played it that I'd rather not dwell on.
I am thinking of rebuilding my W Les Paul as a baritone. I haven't figured all of the details yet, other...
Something dawned on me and I wanted to ask the peanut gallery for opinions and experience (because this is my favorite peanut gallery)
I've been interested in jumping into the extended range guitar world and right now there are a lot of crazes going on like headless guitars, multi-scale necks...
I bought these awhile back to start building my digital rig for guitar. Planned on using them within Max/MSP for my signal chain.
They require a login to activate if I remember correctly, but do not require a usb dongle like some do. Comes in VST or AU.

According to the bathroom scale. 46.8 lbs.
That's with all the vinyl still on there.
If you're interested in this stuff find the Greenboy website. Those guys are much like Warmaholics are. They love what they build in their community and swear by it over all other products. Go Figure. :bass:
So. Here I am. 2 years, one divorce, and a bunch of neglected projects sitting in storage later. I finally pulled these guys back into my life to finish up.
AAAAnd here I have a little problem. Apparently Super 77 isn't the amazing be-all/end-all product I heard it was. This is upsetting...
The one that bugs me the most is MPG vs L/100Km .. It's not just different units, but also inverted comparisons. Distance per Volume vs Volume per distance.
I like that Warmoth is looking at details such as this. I don't know if I'm going to build another Warmoth anytime soon, but my S/O is...
It's fun being a Canadian.
They teach Metric in school, so no kids know how many feet there are in a mile. Liquids are measured in metric, but construction is measured in feet/inches. We all talk about how many feet/inches tall we are and how many pounds we weigh, but the doctors always...
Thanks for the thoughts guys. That guide is pretty much what I was thinking.
I actually did find one. I like Solo because it's sold in Canada, and getting this stuff across the border is far more expensive than it should be sometimes. But I found this one and the price is just right as long...
Hi guys.
It seems every time I come here to post, it's been 1 - 2 years since I last posted. I should update some old build threads that I had going. I was doing a Full Range Cabinet build for my new amp modeler and such, but I've been fighting through a divorce with 3 kids for the last 2+...
This is the coolest thing ever! I wish you luck and will be watching with far too much enthusiasm. I only ever seem to want to do projects that are insane.
