well, I haven't been around in a long while but just noticed that the vintage 2-hole trem has been discontinued on W's site. I have a body that was drilled for one but haven't had the $ to finish it til now. W says in the specs that the American Standard trem is similar to the vintage 2-hole...

That LP is gorgeous!!!! I envision an ebony board on mahogany or flamed maple neck with MOP inlays (although abalone would make a nice complimentary opposite to the orange). btw, nice to meet another orange fan  :headbang: Here's a little eye candy for you Bill...

I got the same shock with my rear-routed strat body, which was also routed for a recessed Floyd. None of my other guitars' fretboards sat that high above the body, so I thought there was no way the strings were gonna sit up off the frets. But when everything was assembled, it was perfect :)
