    TELE rebuild

Making progress on a rebuild of a Squire Affinity Telecaster. my goal is to end up with a relic look. Took about 24 mm off the body and added a flamed maple top. Changed out pickups for Seymour Duncan antiquity’s. Added old style saddle, new tuners, brass nut, and replaced all electronics. Had...

First Build - Not Perfect But It Plays!!!

Lots of imperfections on my first build but the two year process was an fantastic journey.  I started with a rectangular slab of mahogany about 1 1/2 inches thick and two 1/4 inch pieces of quilted maple.  Shaped the entire guitar body, routed the controls, pickups, neck pocket and all other...

    Inlay Practice Feedback

Looking for feedback/guidance on the two practice inlay attempts in the attached pictures before I go live and try this on my new Warmoth guitar neck. Thanks in advance. There are some small gaps which I plan to fill with a mix of saw dust from the same wood and glue.

Anyone get a shipping notice for April 2020 Custom Orders

Thanks for the update Aaron.  I’m glad I ordered without frets (slots only) since I want to try doing my own inlay.  I’m right at the 10 week mark since ordering my neck so I’m sure it won’t be too much longer.  Hope you and the team are all well. Have a Happy 4th!

Specifically I am looking for abalone (natural or man-made) for a partially finished neck I have ordered from Warmoth. Has any ordered from De Paule Supply? Thank you in advance for your suggestions.
