My latest project guitar happens to have a nitrocellulose lacquer finish.  When I bought the body, I wasn't familiar with all the characteristics of this finish.  Inside the first couple days of completing my project I noticed some finger prints on the body, so I grabbed my polish rag (t-shirt)...

Could a neck or a body be damaged by sitting out in the cold for too long? - Say, 20-30 degrees? I have ordered neck/body and I figure it will be in these temperatures for at least 3 days during shipping.  Should I be concerned?  :dontknow:

I want to build a Tele with a Strat Neck.  Is there any reason this would not work, or are there any things I need to be concerned about? >>>>>I've read at Warmoth that a Strat neck on a Tele body will fit and intonate correctly.  It's just those darn gaps... Any help would be greatly...

I'm starting a Strat project and I'm planning on using the "narrow spaced" Strat bridge that Warmoth sells (with 2 1/8" spacing). Am I going to have any trouble with the strings lining up with the pole pieces on single coil pups?

Okay, so here's the deal.  I have a strat body that is routed for a vintage style hardtail bridge (string spacing 2 1/4).  I want to swap it out for the narrow style hardtail bridge that Warmoth sells (spacing 2 1/8). As the description says, the string through holes must be enlarged from 1/8"...

The goal is to build a modern version of the nashville tele (strat singles neck and middle, tele bridge pickup) and I think I've got just about every part for my dream fiddle picked out... except pickups. I have spent weeks searching the internet looking at pickups.  I've considered Dimarzios...

GearBoxTy, Yes, that's an 80's american standard.  There's more fret wear than I would like to see, but it's tolerable. Alfang, I never thought of putting a piece of foam inside the battery cavity to make things fit more snug.  Thanks for the idea.  I might just need to replace the battery box...
