I have'nt checked about the string alignment regarding your question, but I have a Hamer explorer that has narrow string spacing, I don't know what it is, but it's the narrowest of my 10 guitars and it was my first "pro" guitar.In retrospect, I never would have bought it way back when it was considered a "fast" neck. I have big hands and when I do string bends, my fingers go under the adjacent strings.
That sucks ! ALOT !
So just make that a consideration in your decision process. :sign13:
