Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar:  For sale is my severely modded Fender deluxe strat.  I had it setup for 10-46s in standard tuning but it works well with 11-50 chromes in D standard as well.  Modifications (if any): warmoth neck w/ss frets, dimarzio pickups, Schaller straplocks...

personally, i've always wanted to try a semi-hollow using bubinga.  Something about the idea just seems magical.  XD

I'm actually a fan of Linseed Oil on alder.  I refinished an old Ibanez RT and it brought out this nice, orange-golden color.  It's especially nice with pretty alder of course, but i've honestly yet to see any ugly alder.  :/

I'm not sure this would be as easy as i think, but i would definitely dig being able to have warmoth do the masked binding on the f-hole of the tele i'm planning.  I imagine it would look rather swell on other bodies as well.  It would also make me able to have it painted in shop before ordering...

i know exactly what you're talking about....it does react different to effects like the wah from the other pickups i've used.  i played around with it and an auto wah and it sounded like a talk box :party07:

what position are you trying to put it in?  i don't know much about the JB but i'm quite keen on dimarzios.  both the SD and TZ are really nice versatile pickups but they also have their own character to them.

that thing is sexy as hell.....and the finish on that maple :o :o :o  now imma have to spend more money....tuition? phone?  which one should i kill for funding?

it's some nifty lil pickguard trick they do with what appears to be copper foil but lighter, like gold  under a cheetah/tortise guard.... i wanna put it up in a gallery but it's not a warmoth so..... :(  i don't even know where to post it. haha
