    Lake Placid Blue HSH-Strat

I will get some soundclips ready. I don't have an amp right now, but Guitar Rig, a laptop and asio4all should do the job.

    A Strat I couldn't find to buy

lol  :icon_biggrin: That was my biggest concern. Spending about $1.300 to not sound and play better than my $70 guitar. But at the end the feel over the fretboard is amazing. It plays so extremely well that I got addicted to it. Good low profile, no need for string retainers and a long sustain...

    A Strat I couldn't find to buy

Soldering was the hardest job on this guitar by far. It cost me a lot of nerves, blood and sweat to get it done. But... it's finished now!  :icon_biggrin: Here is the picture after the setup process. It will get polished for a nice shooting tomorrow. See you then in the finished-section ;)

Series/parallel and coil split possible with 3 push/pulls?

That's what I got told from the luthier here, too. If I want single-coil-sound I've to get these. As this is my first built guitar, and also my first quality guitar I wanted a lot of variation in sound just to conquer the style I want to play in the end. I ended up by just wiring the splitting...

Series/parallel and coil split possible with 3 push/pulls?

Hi there, I'm on to finish my first Warmoth-Strat and I'm stuck with the electronics-part. Pickups: HSH, the single-coil in middle-position is also a humbucker. 1 Master volume with push/pull. I want this to switch the neck humbucker from series to parallel. 1 Master tone with push/pull. I...

    My first Warmoth strat!

If I knew that, I'd bought the mini >.< less weight is always welcome. It took Warmoth exactly 1 month to deliver my parts, even there was Christmas and New Year in between. So prepare for a month and good luck on this!

    My first Warmoth strat!

Sounds nice! Banana Pudding? Is that the color? The Schaller mini locking tuners are not staggered, just to keep in mind. I have no idea what the Kinsman pickups are, but I'll learn it now  :icon_biggrin: Can't await to hear it. Hope you can hang on till they get delivered ;) My first one is...

    A Strat I couldn't find to buy

Everything arrived today, even the long missed pickups. I'm gonna solder everything tonight and set it up tomorrow. 3 pick-ups, Super Distortion, Pro Track and Air Norton (left to right) 2 pickguards, on the left-hand side fat-humbucker-cut, normal humbucker-cut on righthand side. Testing...

    First Build

Amazing color and a really nice and good looking combination of parts/colors. Well done! Does it sound like a typical Strat?

    A Strat I couldn't find to buy

The fastest way from Puyallup to my home is to dig a hole through the earth. It isn't cheaper to get a new one cut here. I've already asked some luthiers and they'll do it for at least 100-150$, because it's custom, lefty blabla and so on. I don't want to use them :/ Addition: I've asked some...

    A Strat I couldn't find to buy

Warmoth cut them, they're ok, but just too big to use them without a frame. My question was, should I spend 80$ for a new pickguard with fat-humbucker routing for visual sake? (Shipping costs 50$)
