what kind of knobs do I need for wiring active MEC bass pickups ? 25K ,250k or 500k ? I only need two... volume and balance I can't find a usable wiring diagram for this..

easy way to get the nut out without any damage ?

well I know that the nut is a bit high for my taste what about removing the nut, sant it a litle on the back side and putting it back ??

I have noticed that the nut is too high in my guitar. I orderd a neck with the nut slotted and installed by warmoth IS it possible? I  know they use computers for cutting the nut... and if so what should I do ?

I finally orderd new pup's, I found a great deal on SD pup's eventually I orderd a TB4 for bridge, SSL5 for mid and JAZZ for neck. hope I'll like them.
