Tru Oil on unfinished Roasted Maple Neck

This is just six light coats of Tru-Oil (a light bit of 3M pad between coats) plus a coat of of their wax and have been playing it for nearly three years now. Still looks like the day I bolted it together.

Necks: threaded inserts as an option

Instead of reviving some very old threads, I'm just starting a new one here. I'd love to see Warmoth offer threaded inserts as an option (for a charge, of course) on their necks. I think most of us always have some degree of worry about stripping out the mounting holes on necks due to the fact...

    Roasted Maple on different bodies

First, I really appreciate everyone liking my build. It's really helped with my confidence. Thanks much for that. Funny thing is that my current project is based around one of the Classic Player Strat bodies in that very light sonic blue of theirs. Roasted flame maple neck again this time with...

    My first Partscaster (Warmoth neck)

Warmoth's pewter finish looks similar to this. It really is more olive than jade colored but that's what Fender decided call it.

    My first Partscaster (Warmoth neck)

Hi. I'm a long-time lurker and this is my first post. I just finished this about a month ago and finally got around to taking some pics of it. I used the following parts. Warmoth Total Vintage Strat neck (roasted flame maple w/ 9.5" radius & SS6150 frets), white pearl pickguard and backplate...
