    Tennessee Rose Gretsch-O-Caster Tele

I read these boards a lot, but I rarely post.  I have to step in for this one, though.  Great job, it looks amazing!  But . . . no matching headstock

Thanks again guys! I was thinking a white neckplate with a bowtie engraving, but I haven't been able to find any great source art.  I think that would look great!  Though, I don't think Warmoth sells white neckplates.  It'd be great if they made white hardware like they do black.

Here's a little action clip!  Please forgive many things about it.  I didn't know I was being filmed; if I had, I would have played a lot more interesting stuff . . . and probably fallen over, or kicked a chord out!  :icon_biggrin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WszVwTNy4Y

    Warmoth Walnut Soloist

It's a little late, but I have that Everly Brothers acoustic too.  The J-180.  I had to special order it, and they told me they had to actually make one for me, because they were out of stock, so that was kind of cool.  It's here in a shot with my non-Warmoths (I changed the strat's pickguard to...

    "Road worn"... lame!

Honestly, what real-life action would create the missing paint near the top strap button on this tele?

Wow!  That is a great compliment.  Thanks so much for your kind words!  I really appreciate it.  How much might a bowtie neckplate set me back DangerousR6?  :toothy10:

    Pot knobs

I added nuts under the control plate and took the height of the shafts down, then filled the shafts with pieces of poster board and put the knobs back on.  Now it's perfect!  Thanks guys.

    Pot knobs

Oh!  They are slotted shaft pots!  Maybe I should put something in the slot.

Thanks for the tips guys!  I'll try them out when I find two seconds of free time  :icon_tongue:

    Pot knobs

I have a problems with my knobs sticking up too much on my teles; they also turn at a very slight angle, as though they are on slightly slanty.  It's this way on both of my Warmoths, but I don't see this problem on other teles.  Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Hmm, I was thinking a new take on the Vox Mark III.  I love that shape and look, but I think I'd go for a nice metallic green with cream binding.  Obviously, I like bound guitars

It sounds great!  It is a really loud guitar.  I'm used to playing a 57 RI LP Custom with burstbuckers (think this design might be inspired by that? :icon_tongue:), but the high output rails are amazing.  I've had it finished and set up for about two weeks now, and in a band/live situation...

At last!  My patience has paid off, and I have what I consider to be a priceless guitar for about $1300. Here are the specs: Mahogany body AAA Birdseye Maple neck (fat profile) Ebony fretboard Double body binding/neck binding Neck/Mid: Seymour Duncan Hot Rails Bridge: DiMarzio Chopper T...
