    Warmoth Uber Tele

Incredible looking guitar - major kudos for putting that together. How do you find the koa neck? I've not seen it used for a neck wood before, but just seen that the Warmoth site lists it as "similar to mahogany". Would you agree? How does it feel in the hands? Thanks in advance - and enjoy the...

    Non-Invasive Acoustic Pickup Recommendations

Take a look at the K&K Pure Western mini pickup. I have one fitted to my acoustic, and another fitted to my classical - excellent passive pickup, requires no drilling either!

    When do Warmoth charge you?

I thought they charged your card at the end of the process, but I placed an order last week and it just showed up on this month's credit card statement. Does that mean they've started on it already? Thanks Jordan

Can you add contours to a showcase body?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I can't see an answer. Is it possible to buy a body from the showcase (Tele swamp ash in this case) that currently doesn't have any contours, and get Warmoth to put belly/forearm/heel contours into it? Thanks Jordan

    Mr T is finished....

It's Tiger Eye dye. I sent Warmoth a picture of a Suhr guitar that I liked the finish of, and they matched it pretty well :-)

    Mr T is finished....

Hehe - it was seeing your tele that made me want to do this one! The bridge is a standard strat humbucker bridge (53mm). Cheers Jordan Edit: The bridge came from Warmoth, but I've put Graphtech saddles on it.

Say hello to "Mr. T" - arrived today....

Already on the case, this is the wiring I'll be using.... http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=1h_1s_1h_1v_1t_5w_as That's a really clever wiring schematic, which in short, gives me the combiniation of HBs split with middle coil (rwrp) in positions 2 and...

Yes, both the body and neck were custom order, with both the flame maple top and pau ferro fingerboard coming from the Unique Choice section of the website.

what is the deal with basswood

Ha - I hope so. In reality I'm hoping to combine the best bits about my two current guitars (a hollow warmoth alder strat and a PRS singlecut) into one guitar.....with a few personal touches along the way. Thankfully Warmoth allows you to 100% achieve this. I'm getting excited, especially with...
