Say hello to "Mr. T" - arrived today....

Turned out even better than I could have hoped for.....

Body is chambered basswood with flame maple, and bang on 3lbs.
Neck is 3A flame maple with Pau Ferro board.

Should be up and running in a week or two.....can't wait!

Yes, both the body and neck were custom order, with both the flame maple top and pau ferro fingerboard coming from the Unique Choice section of the website.

John Suhr zebra buckers.........great choice.  Are they splitable ?  If so, it will be a good idea to hook them up to push/pull pots to get some single coil and in-between quack sounds.

Already on the case, this is the wiring I'll be using....

That's a really clever wiring schematic, which in short, gives me the combiniation of HBs split with middle coil (rwrp) in positions 2 and 4.
The full wiring will be:

5: Neck HB
4: Neck HB split with middle single coil
3: Middle single coil
2: Bridge HB split with middle single coil
1. Bridge HB

And all without any push-pull pots on the volume or tone. Hope it works!!!

I put the pic of Mr. T up as a joke, he calls the tele "Mr.T".... Mr. T always says "I pity the fool" hence the joke. Nobody reacted to the joke, hence the word "dry" as in no sense of humor, not unlike "Nonsense" of humor... :icon_biggrin:
