Can anyone help me figure out what neck profile this is? With pics included!

Thanks! I should have clarified I was only asking in terms of shape, because I also used calipers to measure the thickness, and it’s thick…1st fret is roughly .895”, while 12th is .915”.

Can anyone help me figure out what neck profile this is? With pics included!

Hi guys, So my contour gauge I ordered arrived today, so I set about measuring the neck profile of my favorite guitar neck, that I'd like to have the specs of for future purchases/builds, especially for Warmoth builds (the builder who built this guitar only does handmade/by feel, so he doesn't...

New video: All Warmoth's Neck Profiles Explained

Great video Aaron! One question based on a line you mention in the video: If the profile is the same, will a more narrow nut (let's go with the 43 vs 42mm) make a neck with the same profile feel thinner? If someone liked the EVH profile on a 43mm neck, should they maybe consider going with the...

    Asymmetrical Neck profile, upside down?

Understood, I just meant I know it’s based on Wolfgang’s from I believe peavey and/or ebmm, and I’m unsure if the current evh brand models have a similar profile…I didn’t notice them at all when I’ve played them

    Asymmetrical Neck profile, upside down?

too bad they didn't have one there...well they have the EVH wolfgang stuff, but I think I've heard that it's the Peavey or maybe even EBMM models that are the Wolfgangs with the neck?

    Asymmetrical Neck profile, upside down?

So I went to my local GC and tried a EBMM Axis baritone that has the asymmetrical neck...and honestly I'm still not sure what I think haha. I thought it felt fine the normal way, and then I awkwardly turned the guitar upside down, and I couldn't really tell how much different it felt, but it...

    PNW techs

I would almost think some luthier could come out specializing in partscasters considering Warmoth and others are all int the same area. PS I visited Seattle last year and loved it, in fact I’m almost sad my gf and I are probably going to move to NYC just because with her job in advertising it...

    Techs in chicago?

Hi everyone! I live in chicago, and I’m sure there must be some fellow chicagoans here. I was wondering, what tech(s) is recommended? I assumed third coast guitar repair, as I had a guitar setup there and recently met the owner at Makenmusic and he was really cool, but want to know my options...

    Asymmetrical Neck profile, upside down?

Hi guys, this topic was inspired by this video:HAzDHuEmZBo...has anyone gotten one of the asymmetrical necks and either ordered the opposite hand so you could reverse it, or have even just flipped your guitar over to see what it's like? When I used the neck profile reference guitars, and found...

    A Modern Contoured Heel

I would love this option of course, but I did just recently own a Vigier (great guitar, but not a true lifetime instrument so I traded it for a Hartung on it's way), and anyone who's played one knows that Vigier Excalibur models have the basic square heel, and honestly it didn't bother me at...

Can all/most models have the 24 fret reposition

I was referring to the bodies. Even when I look at modern shapes like the King V (which as far as I know was originally 24 frets when Jackson released it), it seems like the 24 fret reposition option is not able to be checked, no matter what pickup choice I make (and it is rear routed).

Can all/most models have the 24 fret reposition

Thanks! Off the top of your head do you know what options change this? Would a roasted neck do it (only reason why I can think of since that's the only non-standard choice I make in the builder)?

Can all/most models have the 24 fret reposition

Hi guys! I was wondering can all/most models have the 24 fret reposition? I ask because I only see strats and soloist in the custom builder. Old posts seem to suggest all models can though. Has this changed?
