    Gold Frets or no....cant decide

He's quoting a YouTube video that seems to no longer exist.  Perhaps it rubbed Yngwie the wrong way and he requested that it be pulled.  Who knows. Edit:  It appears that the video was removed as a copyright claim from "Malmsteen Management."  Bummer.

    Gold Frets or no....cant decide

What’s more of a priority to you?  The aesthetics of the guitar or how it plays?  If you want to decapitate your audience with your “Yngwie Malmsteen, I am your new god” shredding technique then go with Stainless Steel fretwire.  It plays like butta!

So I might take the plunge again

Are you planning on using your existing neck on this body?  Is it already prepped for a Floyd Rose locking nut?

locating TOM bridge post holes w/ a 24.75 conversion neck ???

No, keep in mind that what you have is a "conversion neck" and it does not share the same properties as a 24.75" neck that would be used on guitar like a Les Paul.  With this neck being a conversion neck, it's intended on being mounted on a body that is in the 25.5" scale.  So keep that in mind...

    Jazzmaster bridge alternatives?

Go with a Floyd Rose... Nuff said... :icon_biggrin:

Is this cracking on my neck normal

Actually I'm willing to bet that this is a Nitro finish which is extremely prone to cracks such as these.  Nothing can really be done to prevent these cracks from happening, it's just the nature of the beast.  Several years ago Warmoth offered a Nitro hybrid finish that had the same thing happen...

    tune-o-matics and strats.

Yes, Tune-O-Matic bridge can work just fine on Strats, we just need to angle the neck pocket to allow the strings to lay over the fretboard properly. Another option to consider is our new recessed Tune-O-Matic option which allows you to use this bridge, without having to angle the heel pocket. ...

    another question warmoth employees!

Not very likely, pointy and radical shaped bodies don't make it into the showcase too often because they just don't sell that well. What's you're reasoning for wanting one of these bodies to show up in the Showcase?  Remember that initially, a lot of what you see in our Showcase section is...

    neck weights posted in Showcase

Cool idea, but the only problem is that the exact weights of our necks are rarely ever a concern with our customers.  Yes, you are going to notice a slight difference between a vintage modern and a Warmoth pro neck made up of the same woods.  But within the same construction method, two necks of...

    dying swamp ash..

Have you seen this product be used on Swamp Ash?  Dying Flame/Quilt Maple is one thing, but Swamp Ash is a whole different animal which to our knowledge doesn't dye well at all.  This is why we don't dye Swamp Ash at Warmoth, we only use Transparent finishes on it.  I don't mean to burst your...

    has anyone seen

I've seen EVERYTHING!!  :icon_biggrin: But since the recessed Tune-O-Matic is so new, I've yet to see this exact combination yet, but it can be done.

TonePros Locking Tune-O-Matic Bridge offered by Warmoth question

By any chance do you know what width of saddles you need?  Sometimes it's difficult to determine exactly which model of bridge we have since we use our own packaging, but I can certainly measure one for you if you give me the specs...

    Unreplied emails to warmoth...

Try E-mailing me personally at jay@warmoth.com.  If I don't reply then something between us is blocking your E-mail.  We've disabled ALL of our spam filters here at Warmoth to specifically prevent this problem.  So if something is blocking your E-mail, it's not happening at Warmoth.

    7 string tune-o-matic style bridge

Unless Gregg knows something that the rest of the sales guys don't, their has been no mention of the 7-String line being dropped.  But again, it is our least popular product line.

    suggestions open for new project

I don't think I've ever heard of David Gilmour and Blink-182 used in the same sentence.  :icon_biggrin: Didn't Tom Delong used an Invader at the bridge?  That's a pretty hot pickup but it works for his pop/punk sound, a pickup like that might be a little over kill for a Pink Floyd sound...
