Thanks guys. I went with cherry burst on an 1 piece alder body. Since the guitar is supposed to be an "updated" version of the Sambora Stratocaster, it is only logical for me to go with cherry burst. I am stoked how it all will turn out

The neck i'll be using will either be a nice musikraft roasted maple neck or a new warmoth roasted maple neck, haven't decided yet. Either way, its gonna be a neck finished with oil&wax.
