hhmmm very cool.
I have a super nice Musikraft neck that needs a Body and for the last few days i pretty much settled on the Warmoth Soloist body for it, but some kind of contoured heel is a must for me.
I think i will buy a light Soloist body from the showcase with the DIY-paint option.

Thanks guys.
I went with cherry burst on an 1 piece alder body.
Since the guitar is supposed to be an "updated" version of the Sambora Stratocaster, it is only logical for me to go with cherry burst.
I am stoked how it all will turn out
Hi guys,
i can't decide between honey burst and cherry burst on my next stratocaster body.
I would love if you guys could show me as many pictures as possible of your guitars with either cherry burst or honey burst finishes. favourably on alder bodies with no flame tops.
Would be a great help...
For those with satin body finishes:
What's your experience in the long term?
How do they look? How do they wear in comparison to gloss finishes?
I think they will definitely polish up with time, but what do I know.
I would love to see some pictures of satin body's that are several month or...
I just want / wanted to avoid comments like "you can't post this guitar here, it is only a warmoth neck without a warmoth body" or vice versa.

This project is actually a pretty big deal for me, expect a good presentation of it here or on the gear page. or both.
(little side qustion: does a parts guitar with...
To B:
I know that my strat could end up fairly heavy, i will install a lot of rather heavy parts that will add up.
I know there is always a variable in play when it comes to partscasters, i really want it to be good.
I ordered a one piece, roasted alder body, i don't have any idea how light...
So,
i have an order for a custom Strat body going on. HSH Route. Roasted alder one piece, sorted for light weight. Because i know that the guitar will get "heavy" parts installed (floyd rose, rather heavy stacked singlecoils, battery for boost etc. - it adds up!) i am thinking about changing...
Hi guys,
i am currently thinking about my first warmoth body (only had necks to this day) and i am interested in a satin finish, a satin cherry burst to be precise.
I know that a satin finish will polish up with time, but how is the rest? Anybody here got a satin finished body? how is it...
The neck i'll be using will either be a nice musikraft roasted maple neck or a new warmoth roasted maple neck, haven't decided yet. Either way, its gonna be a neck finished with oil&wax.
