    favorite bass player?

This one's easy--Jaco.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5c3H6LpLZI Note how Jaco cuts a groove approximately sixty miles deep through this mellow little tune.  There are simply no mistakes or deviations from what is literally a perfect performance that he could turn in any night of the week. ...

There are no words. Watch and be astounded.

Simply astounding.  I had forgotten people used to dress like that.  Thanks for reminding me, now I'll have to forget all over again. But srsly, the guitarist didn't do anything earth-shattering by any means.  Beri player had some monster chops tho--takes a lot of work to fill one of those...

    Huh?

As one of those guys who will only put a cable between my Strat and Super-Reverb, I beg you, please stop.  I can see it now--"Four out of five guitarists who prefer cold and brittle transistors sound prefer Stratocaster!" OK, just joshing. /but srsly . . .

    pulling a broken screw =[

Update: Just got off the phone with the guy from TLTools.com.  Very nice fellow--we spoke for about ten minutes.  He took my name, and when my order comes across in a few minutes, he is going to put some different sizes of the "unscrew-em" in the shipment for me so that I can get the exact...

Yeah, I obviously didn't do it deeply enough though.  Seems that is the common occurrence.

    pulling a broken screw =[

OK man, yeah, good advice.  I search way more than anything, but I was pretty upset that I may have an unwanted hole in a 2K guitar.  As per a suggestion found here, I think I am going to order a couple of these:  http://tltools.com/tlt/product.asp?mscssid=33JP6A4MRTFV9GQFV07280C52N1F7TCF...

    pulling a broken screw =[

I was putting on a string tree when the screw gave.  I have about 1/16th in. hanging out of the wood.  Tried some small needle-nose pliers with no luck.  Any words here?  Damn.  Should've just bought a guitar.

    My first build comes together

I've always played a rightie upside-down.  Some people think Strats look way cooler that way.  Used to watching Hendrix vids maybe.  It looks a little weird, yeah, but it's mega comfortable.  It's going to take some time to get used to tuning a flat string by going clockwise, as well as reaching...

    steinberger gearless tuners

They're ugly in person too.  =[ Of course, this is highly subjective.  The guy who had them liked them, for both looks and functionality.

    Seeking all "brushed" satin/chrome hardware

Hello, I am looking to complete the brushed look on the hardware appointments on my Warmoth Strat'.  I lack a jackplate, neckplate, and it would be rather bitchin' if I could get matching screws for the plates and the pickguard.  Can anyone give me some advice?  I've read that you can DIY, but...

Well, I like it.  Hope to see more pics as it comes together.  What hardware are you going to use?
