just saw this, nice! honestly I bought the saddles on a whim, but I'm really digging them!  and it does sound killer and plays even better!  I haven't been able to really crank it up yet believe it or not, but I'll be doing so in a couple of hours! not until it's falling off!  :laughing11:

i figured if i was going to do it, i should do it right! yes, it was chopped out.. I wrapped it around the tuning keys a couple of times.. we use 40# test just to be safe :)

there's been a few other copies i've seen, like this one posted earlier in the thread: the thing that bugs me about this one and others i've seen is mainly the vol/tone control positions.. the pickup routes in the pickguard on this one are also not my style, but that's just a personal...

getting close! new pickguard, new graphtech ferraglide saddles, new custom 5 trembucker.. '59 in the neck.. dual push/push pots.. just gotta get it wired up then it's off for neck attachment, nut install, & setup!!!

well, a slight change of plans.. ordered a new tortoise shell pickguard from warmoth and a couple of push/push pots..  also ordered a set of graphtech ferraglides and a duncan custom 5 trembucker for the bridge. so i'm stuck waiting for all of this to arrive.. :sad1: one of the problems i ran...
