Hello guys and gals, I would like YOUR help in designing my new guitar. For Christmas my girlfriend had got me a template to make my own telemaster / offset telecaster. I have ideas but I also need more. So if you wanna help me out, design a tm in the body builder and post a picture in this thread. The template will allow for hardtail or standard jag/jm tremolo. Single or jm in the neck. For those who wanna participate, I can’t wait to see it! Feel free to add pickguards to your designs

If you say she's also paying for it I'd ask if she has sister.  If this is your first build go with something basic.

This will be the second body I’ve cut myself and done all the work to. To be completely transparent, I’m still working on the first. I just don’t know what color I want this one to be!
This won’t be my first partscaster either, all 6 of my guitars are partscasters, 3 of them are warmoth parts, and one I plan to replace with warmoth parts

I'm not going to design it for you, because that's where a lot of the fun resides, but I can make some thematic suggestions. Go for something you don't have like a new neck wood , a different paint job, a different more complicated switching system, an interesting fretboard.  Explore and enjoy

You should do a search on “Fat Pete” for some inspiration. Also dig through the troves of the GoM winners.  A true pantheon of delightful and thoughtful designers.
