Wraparound bridge?

I had a concept for a Warmoth Iceman that included using a Hipshot baby grand bridge. That bridge will fit into a wraparound route, apparently a wraparound TOM is not an option. Do you think I could just route for a TOM with angled string ferrules and the bridge would cover up the holes? Did Warmoth ever offer a wraparound route?

They route for the Gotoh 510, which is a wraparound. I have that bridge on my VIP. You'd have to check the mounting hole size and distance though.

The centerlines of the holes for the mounting studs of the wraparound Gotoh 510 bridge...

...are at 82mm, as are the ones for the Baby Grand. The holes the studs press into are the same size, too. So, it would seem you could order your body drilled for the Gotoh part, and the Hipshot part would fit.

I can't select the route for a gotoh 510 (at least on the Iceman body). I think the Gotoh 510 route is only on the Regal and VIP. That sucks.

The 510 is a tall bridge, like a Tune-O-Matic, so it's typically only used on guitars with carved tops and the associated angled neck pockets. That's likely why the "Builder" won't let you make that choice - if you're not aware of the problem, you could order that configuration and end up in trouble, so it's trying to save you from yourself. But, I'd wager real money that if you called them and told them what you intend to do and why, they'd drill those holes on those centers.
