I am looking for some wooden pick up rings in quilted maple.
I need the slanted kind for a angled neck pocket and a flat top body.
Anyone got a resource for those? :help:
Also this is my plan.
I have not seen it done so I am gonna just go for it and see how it comes out.
The top of the guitar is quilted maple and I plan on dyeing it myself.
I thought it would look killer to dye the pick up rings the same way as the body and then clear coat them.
Has anyone ever tried this or seen it done?
My theory is if it looks like crap I will just get a set of ebony ones to match the finger board and call it a day.
Either way it will be cooler than plastic.
