Wiring issue

Greetings,

I'm working on a 2 HB - 2 Vol / 1 Tone using a 3 way blade switch.

Neck pickup is working fine, but on the bridge pup, it sounds a little thin and when reducing the volume control specific to the bridge, it doesn't go totally quiet, more like it gets to about 20-30% of volume.

I'm using this schematic from Seymour Duncan and can not figure out the issue.....

Sounds to me like the "ground lug" of that bridge volume is to blame, I would check that solderjoint.

With this kind of wiring, in the middle position of the 3-way switch, you should be able to kill the signal with either volume pot.

If that only works with the neck volume, then it's probably like I said: There's the ground missing on the bridge volume.

Terrific info.....thanks. Will try that when I get home
