So I got a new idea...
P-rails in the neck, and an alnico 8 humbucker with correct output to match in the bridge, master volume, master tone, blend pot (instead of three way switch). For coil splitting I would like a pair of three way mini switches. Outer coils when they're switched down together, inner coils when switched up together, and full pickups in the middle. I could also combine any humbucker with any coil on the other pickup by leaving one switch in the center.
To get this concept to work I would like to know which blend pots, mini-switches, and bridge pickups that you guys recommend...
... and whatever else you think...
