Will it work with the Arcade style neck?

First of all I hope everyone reading this is having a good night :) (morning depending on where you are from)

I was looking into getting the DO3 tuner buttons from Hipshot but I am concerned if the buttons would be too large for the Arcade style since I have heard that some have already had tight fits with tuners on that style.

The tuners look like this:

Any and all help would be appreciated :)

I wouldn't risk it.  That style of tuning machine button is based on the old art-deco D'Angelico and early Epiphone style, and is very likely to be way too wide for the six-in-line style.  Aesthetically, I wouldn't go that route, either, actually.  Looks like it belongs on a 1930's arch top, not a 1980's shred machine.

Yeah I can see the aesthetic point of view that you mean, and it does seem very risky. I was just wanting to do something other than your standard button. Maybe the Sk1??? It does look rather interesting...

Those buttons look very much like the ones on my Grover Imperials. If they are the same size, they are too big for a 6 in-line application. I have the Grover Imperials on my Falcon.

Those look interesting. I cannot find them off the main Hipshot page though.

If you want super fine, super stable, and something that makes people look twice?

I recommend Steinbergers.

I have them on one guitar, and now that I am used to them, regular tuners feel sloppy, and coarse to me.

Steinbergers are amazing tuning machines...
I have them on my Firebird, and yes they do take some getting used to.
But once you get used to them, you do get spoiled.
Good luck on your build and  :rock-on:
