I see Warmoth makes pau ferro necks.  They have them in the showcase but not the builder.  Do I have to call??

Wood species raw stock availability comes and goes. I've never seen them run out of Pau Ferro, but that doesn't mean it can't happen. The ones in the Showcase may be the only ones available for now.

There were one or two in the showcase recently and you can email or call. I made the enquiry myself, if the wood is available they will probably do one for you.

In the neck wood spec's, there seems to be more types of neck woods saying .... Limited availability

I remember the Ebony saying that, but seems more now.

Best to call them  :icon_thumright:  probably have a stash under a desk somewhere  :icon_biggrin:

Thinking of a Pau Ferro/Canary combo.  Sweetness!

I just saw how the spellcheck corrected ferro to ferrous!! :laughing3:

As far as I know some woods are in limited availability not in quantity but in thickness. Usually they don't have many thick blanks enough for a neck but they have lots to make fretboards.

I have two fret boards of the stuff.  I really like it.  Should prove to be a cool shaft wood.

It is indeed an awesome wood for neck shafts as well as fingerboards!
