so i was thinking about doing a vintage tint white ash mustang but i looked at some pictures and i dont like the look of the maple neck.

and then i thought if i could do a white ash neck with a white ash fretboard, kinda like a maple neck.

any thoughts would be great!

Ash has not traditionally been used as a neck wood, and I am fairly certain that it is because it is not strong enough for the string tension. I know for sure that it is weaker than maple.

I'm sure somebody out there makes Ash necks, but I've never seen one.  Keep in mind too, the Maple used for necks is not the same as for bodies.  So, not all woods of the same variety are the same.  On Warmoth's wood description list, they have what they will and won't make bodies, necks, and fretboards out of.  It is their list though.  There are other makers that do mate woods together on pieces Warmoth won't.  They have their reasons.

Right.  Get a neck out of white ash - fairly coarse stuff.  Have them build it in "fatback" profile.  Then wood-burn "Louisville Slugger" on the back.  That'll do.
