Which White is Whiter?

Seeing Mistina LaFave's (of The Prids) Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass in Olympic White has suddenly got me thinking about a Deluxe J5 in white, but I can't really tell which white is whiter: Alpine White or Olympic White?

And an opinion question: I really want a matching headstock, but I also really want a Vintage Tint Gloss on the neck, but that would of course make the white look yellow, so if you were me, would you go:

1. Matching White headstock with clear gloss finish, or
2. Black headstock with vintage tint gloss?

I'd go white/clear.

I believe the alpine is whiter.  I can also say from experience, it's really pretty.

If you're wanting to do a colored headstock, I would vote for the matching white.  Personally I don't think the vintage tint neck finish would make the body look yellow.

I'll also say their satin nitro finish is fantastic.  But, it's not gloss.

I had saved all my mockups, one of the ones I had tested was a vintage tint neck.

It took me 15 seconds to color the headstock black and white.  Here are the results.

I personally prefer the first one.

Also, I wouldn't have thought they would have put tinted lacquer over a white headstock face finish, they'd just do the back of the neck. I'd double check that first before taking my word on that.

I like the second one, but with chrome hardware and a black pearl pickguard, and a Deluxe J5 instead of a Tele Bass.

I haven't actually asked Warmoth about whether or not they could do the headstock wht/clear gloss and the neck vintage gloss. If they can, that's what I'm getting. Then the only question left is 5-inline, like my old Jazz Plus V, or 4+1, like an AmDlx?

I'd be hard pressed to choose which white for one of my own.
