What's wrong with strange? Bolt on LPs aren't strange? I like the idea Orpheo  :hello2: I put a telecaster bridge/control plate on a jazzmaster a while ago and a strat hardtail on a flat top LP (with "fendoid" body contours) I would love to see the Telepaul when you do it.. :icon_thumright:

I like this concepta lot! That TV yellow LP with the tele bridge has loads of character! :hello2: If you wanted a more trad looking LP you could go with 2 or three stag mags like I did in my PRS build.  You could even go with another carved top that way.

I won't be so blunt , but it's just  :icon_scratch: wrong . I can appreciate this path thats been traveled , but too many times .
Its rare that someone pulls it off . However there is some great takes .Go back and use Nonsensetele 's pic and jack the hacks' gold top tele pic as a launching pad and go back to the drawing board and come up with another take . Find more examples of what works , and what does't work .I would take a hint from the responses you are getting .

I just got word... there projects have to wait. for a LONG time. I still want that purpleheart/rosewood and that bubinga/padouk body (so..there's 2 bodies! yesyes!!!), and those are so much $$$$, that other things have to wait. I've got to get the money before I can pull my visa again, but I dont think thats that much of a problem.
