I'd stick 3 EM1-mount TV Jones in there. A Power'Tron neck model in the neck, a Power'Tron bridge in the middle, and a Power'Tron Plus in the bridge.

All chrome w/ cream rings.

And if I had money left over, I'd try out a Stetsbar tremolo.

You'll need to consider the output of each pickup.

I'd use a P94 bridge pickup at the bridge.  A rather medium ballsy HB in the middle - something like a Pearly Gates perhaps?  Then go with something light an airy like a Burstbucker #1 (not pro, just plain BB#1) at the neck.  Another good choice at the neck - a Phat Cat - which is a light and airy pickup and would balance well at the neck with stronger pickups in the middle.  The P94 is a screaming flesh eating demon, you'll like it at the bridge.

after having made a whole lot of 3 pickup les pauls, I can be quite confident in saying that I prefer the following.

2 exactly the same pickups, for neck and bridge. with a different magnet, though, to differentiate the 2 (alnico5 in the neck, alnico8 or ceramic in bridge) and a singlecoil pickup in the middle, with a push pull to engage the middle pickup, with a master tone and for each pickup a volume pot. thats really the best way to wire a 3 pickup les paul, imho.

Six Lace Sensor single coils, eleven knobs, 3 Superswitches and 13 minis... did you, like, get this thing on purpose, or was it left in a basket on your doorstep? :icon_scratch:

Actually, first I'd consider magnetic string pull, and personally I'd probably go with Bill Lawrence L500R's and L500C's. But if it's just Framptonesque wall-candy, you pretty much have to go with the gold PAF's, right?  :dontknow: Or put it back in the basket and leave it at your neighbors.... :evil4:

Hey Max any chance you could photo-shop  two tv jones , a fat cat and a bigsby b12 on there for me.
Please!

I have had 3 motherbuckers, so that makes SIX huge bar magnets, but I also have had 3 custom pickups in my guitar, each having 6 slugs and a magnet bar. that makes 3*6 + 3=21 magnets in a guitar. stringpull is a hoax. especially with the hotter pickups, its really a whole lotta crap. look at how weak the magnetic field is of one of those magnets, and how for the magnetic field pertrudes! its really quite small. and having set the pickup 3mm lower than usual will negate all 'possible effects' of stringpull. really, its hogwash.

also, the strings are too LIGHT to be pulled, dampened or whatever by the magnets.

@t.s.: whats the brand of the guitar?

If you are thinking of installing a Bigsby, take a look at Vibramate and see if the Bigbsy bar you are getting (or have already) is matched with a Vibramate adapter plate. That way you don't have to rout more stud holes and can easily convert the guitar back to a stop piece tailpiece if you want to.

+1 on a P94, I have seen a lot of videos with a player who sues on as his only stage pickup in his guitar and he uses a big rig that gives the P94 a lot of air to play with. :icon_thumright:

TV Jones EM-1 kit looks a magic kit to get if you want the Gretsch/Filtertron sound but have a humbucker routed guitar. Filtertrons in guitars other than Gretsches was always a problem in the past..... :icon_thumright:

Heritages are known for really nice craftsmanship, and that three-pickup route sure looks like a custom factory job; the middle pickup wasn't added later. I would be interested in how that guitar got to be a parts source - it would surely be worth the most, and probably function very nicely, if you had all the parts that came off of it. If I ever want a ES335 so bad as to spend the money, I'd probably buy a Heritage 535 instead... this looks sweet, too:

I have all the parts. The guitar sets up and plays nice. The back of the guitar looked like a rodeo star played it. Ie the worst buckle rash I've seen, ever.. so I'm sanding out the finish, not a new finish I want to keep the blue, just get rid of the worming and pits. The guitar came with schaller pups which are kinda anemic, I ordered a set of rio grande pups and a bigsby B11 for her. Will also be doing frampton wiring. Which reminds me I need to go capacitor shopping.
