What would you do? Warmoth LP jr: an old one with a newer neck

Mark, did you ever buy a camera?

Like I said before, my theory is that you do not have any guitars of your own, but have mastered the technique of snapping bad cell phone pics of your friends' guitars, when they are not looking. You are welcome to disprove my theory with high resolution photos of your collection. :blob7:

Joey, you tardbiscuit, i often have my wife snap pics of specific guitars for your benefit while I'm at work.  I am only ever taking cell phone pics.  Buying a camera ended up annoying me, so I gave up.  It's something i would want to do well, but I'm not time invested enough to learn/buy what i'd need to in order to be happy with the results.  My blackberry has a good camera~

I have too much cool stuff, and I feel guilty not using more of it more often.

I know what you mean. I can't play worth a tinker's damn since the accident, but I keep buying guitars and gear as if I were a working pro. It's silly, but I can't help myself. One of these days I've got to sit down and write up a will so it all gets a good home once I go tits-up.

Very good point 'n' shoot cameras are a dime a dozen any more, and they take incredible pictures. There's no excuse to not have one. But, if you'd rather just use a cameraphone, be sure you've got good light. The sensors on those things are pitiful at best, regardless of the resolution. Indoor pictures often aren't even as good as newprint.

Teach your wife to take better pictures. Sign her up for a photography class!  :icon_jokercolor:

It's more about the lighting conditions than the camera, though. My iPhone takes wonderful pictures. when the light is good. For example, here is a shot from my old 3G with some editing.

Just as good as any other camera, albeit with less pixels in the image.

That's an excellent example. I've seen a lot of good pics from camera phones, but usually just outdoor shots. They need lotsa light, because the sensors are far too small and insensitive.

Forgive me for being late to the conversation and not reading teh whole thread.

I just think a P90, Jazzmaster PU, or maybe an EMG style-strat pickup body-mounted in the neck position (in black of course) would look great. Plus, with that P-rails you could have the option of neck + bridge90, neck + bridgerails, or neck+bridgefull. And i imagine the two different split combinations would make for some really nice and different middle position sounds. This is something I've been wanting to do in an electric for a while, and i think the P-Rails is the perfect pickup for the job.
