You're kidding right? That's just unfinished wood that I drew on with a sharpie marker. Oh and it's really neck heavy - sucks to play standing up. I disassembled it because I hated it so much. Basswood+star shape = bad idea. Sounded really good though.

That is the original locking nut on that guitar.  The body originally had a Fender knock off of a Floyd Rose.

Wow!  Reverse headstock, no fret dots, hardtail bridge, humbuckers, wired V-V-T.  Nice.

VVT never quite worked out as I planned.  Had to go VTT instead - just never bothered to re-order the right knobs.  Got a type P megaswitch (replicates PRS 5 way switch) in there which does a nice job.

Right, that is how fender did it in the 80s.. locks behind the nut.

My Strat is like that.  It's an 80s MIJ.  I got it in a trade, and the previous owner threw away the trem because the fine tuners were stripped.  I took the looking nut off and put a six-screw Strat bridge on it.  The new bridge and replacement pickguard covered everything up nicely.
