What size box?

When my body and neck turn up, what sized box will they arrive in?

I might have them delivered to my vacation address when I'm over there and bring them back as hand luggage to save paying international shipping and import taxes.

Does anyone have the box dimensions for a body and neck combo?

2 boxes.
1 body box, and 1 neck box.

The box the body comes in is usually about the size of the body with about 1 inch extra all the way around.  The neck will be triangle shapped that is a couple inches longer then the neck.  Depending on the air line I would think that it will exceed carry on size.

The body box my Soloist just came in was 16"x22"x3"

The neck box is 3 sided, 5 1/2" on a side by 31" long.

The body boxes can take a lot of abuse without hurting the contents. The neck boxes? Not so much. I'd like to see something better there, but if they're not getting a lotta claims on them, then there's probably no reason to change.
