What should I put in my strat?

As a stopgap until I get my Warmoth finished, I bought a used, untouched black MIM strat with a maple fretboard. It still has the stock pickups, which sound fine. But I've always wanted to have a strat with an unexpected pickup selection.

Some possibilities I've thought of-
-Putting a tele set in it (my partstele has been reduced to, well, parts. And I have the pickups still)
-SD Mini hums. Tried the American Vintage Hot rod tele with one in the neck. Clearest pickup I've ever heard.
-P-Rails set, which would be incredibly versatile.

But I'm honestly really curious about what you folks on here could think of/recommend. :) So throw in some suggestions!

I think it'd be cool if you went really weird and put a mini hum in the neck, the tele neck pickup in the middle, and the tele bridge pickup in the bridge.

My strat began life as a 96 black MIM with a maple neck.  The body is about the only original part left.
When I changed pups I was surprised to find that it was routed S-S-H.  I have seen some of the newer ones have circular holes drilled in them too (so they can't pass as USA strats?)

I wound up putting the original MIM pups in a yamaha strat knockoff.  Definitely a tone improvement on that end.

That sounds intriguing, I had a "blackout" tele for a while with the tele neck p/u in the middle position. It didn't sound too bad.
