What is this neck?

I hope this doesn't mean the LP neck is being discontinued and this is the replacement.

It's what they call a "miscellaneous" neck. Sorta like a LP neck, but for the headstock shape. Helluva deal there - $220 for Brazilian rosewood over mahogany? Throw a set of SS frets on there and stash it for a rainy day.

I knew they had the miscellaneous section, but I was just worried that, given the similarity, they were no longer able to make the LP neck.

isn't that what the old "gibson" warmoth headstock looked like? i remember seeing the LP necks a few years ago on their site and thinking it was terrible, but now they make a pretty decent looking LP headstock.

It's a one off headstock shape. The standard LP headstock is still very much being made.
