Jazzmasters are actually pretty comfy guitars to play. The thing to do is reject Leo's hardware/electronics for something that actually works. A decent vibrato bridge instead of that cruel joke that most use and some controls that don't require cracking the DaVinci code to operate are a good start. Add some locking tuners instead of those Kluson beer can pieces of feces, some stainless frets, a raw neck and Poof! It's a great guitar.
I dunno, switches galore, all that's missing is more tone and volume controls.

Uh-huh! :toothy12:

Or like the original BC Rich Bich.  :headbang1:

Facebook is a huge no-no, period.

You say this a lot; I was surprised to see you pop up under "people you may know" last time I was on there. I clicked through to the account, and sure enough, it was you. How come you have an account?

Are you sure it was me? According to Google, there are a surprising number of Kevin Wagners out there. If it was me, it may be from years ago. I'd have no idea how to log in to it. It could also be a trick. I belong to a couple other forums that when you vote on a poll, it automatically takes you to a Facebook page. Can't do anything there, but a cookie may be generated.

Uh-huh! Closet Facebooker. The truth is known now so you may as well come out. :icon_biggrin:

I suspect Cagey is secretly on Facebook spewing all manner of lib'rul claptrap just to keep things on a low boil.

Ducking and running now...

Any word how this giveaway is going? Hopefully it is getting some interest.

1350 entries and climbing. The FB ad for it starts running today, so we expect the next couple days will be even bigger than the first. The Build-a-Body Sweepstakes in Feb ended with about 2100 entries. Being a simple random drawing, this giveaway is much easier to understand and enter, so we are hoping for a larger turnout.

Very cool. It'll be interesting to see what the final count is. Even more interesting sill be to see if sales significantly pick up over last year beyond the normal growth rate.

That is indeed the goal.

You know, if everyone here at UW just bought one extra item this year...

Sounds like I've done my civic duty as a UW member then.  Now let me win that neck and we'll call it even.  I'll do you a favor and take it unfinished - saving us all some time / effort.  You can thank me later!

It was almost like a parody version of you. It had the correct town in Michigan at the address, but it also had a post from March 2013 suggesting that if Obama wasn't a politician he wouldn't be qualified for any job. I found this a bit suspicious, because the guy has a degree from Harvard and taught constitutional law for 12 years, and I thought "Cagey might be anti-Obama, but he would know about this, I reckon someone's pretending to be him" - so I didn't add a friend request. There was also no mention of guitars anywhere, which raised another red flag.

I've bought two body blanks and plan on getting a couple necks, so I'm good now :D
