What headstock for a Velocity?

I bought a warmoth neck for my velocity build earlier this year and I think it pairs well (minus the finish I still want to do). If the meadowhawk was available I probably would have also considered that.

There's some hard coded thing in my brain that generally says "double cut = 6-in-line, single cut = 3+3/4+2" that I'm trying to get past. The only exceptions to that I own are Jacksons with 4+2 and Strandbergs which are 0+0. I started a fen paul build earlier this year I still need to finish which is hombre headstock with strat body (and it's utterly ridiculous looking to me but I bought the stuff for a specific reason...)

So, no tellys, no SGs, no DC LPs and no "modernistic"-style guitars for you?

But I get it: A Les Paul with 6-in-line headstock would look weird to me, too, to most ppl I'd say.
Not saying this has to be a bad thing, though.

Correct. Some of my extended range guitars have double cut without 6-in-line but for six strings, it's pretty much the unwritten rule floating around in my subconscious.
