WBW pickguards make everything look like a damn mexican fender. Mary Kaye strats need to built closer to vintage. To my eye it's a total clash. It's a 50's style guitar with a 70's guard. The brown tortoise looks much better than the cheapo reddish stuff out there. Brown tortoise or parchment.
