I noticed a guy joined my neighborhood's local social network through Nextdoor.com. It's a pretty good tool for organizing things around your neighborhood.
The fella posts that his hobbies include building guitars, brewing beer, and such.
I said to myself: Self, how do we not know such a guy? He lives two blocks from me.
So I marched self over to his house today with my new magic wand and found a shop..full.. of STUFF!
A load of completed guitars he's built, and a motherload of necks and bodies, as well as a stockpile of wood that would make the fire department nervous.
Cabinets full of pickups, tuners, screws and jacks. Pots, pickguards, capacitors, strap locks, cans of lacquer, and on and on....
Planers, and jigsaws, routers and bandsaws, drill presses and I-dunno-whut-all!
I suspect we'll be seeing more of each other.
