what a groove!

When I think of a heavy groove, this is what I think of:

And I'll post this one, even though it means that I may go to hell for it:

I haven't made my mind up yet if having two pickguards on a Les Paul is a cool idea or not......

I loved them, they were the shiznit

however

you want funk

no matter what they called themselves, Parliment, Funkedelic, the P Funk All Stars, George clinton and his group ruled Funk

and the reason ?

BOOTSY COLLINS

down right the best Bass player (excuse me Jaco fans) to ever hit a stage in 12 inch high heels

ok Brian tried to bring back funk a few years back

I totally missed this when it was new, (probably because I don't listen to a lot of pop), but the groove on Natural Selection's "Do Anything" is just soooo infectious.

If everything this guy did sounded like this I'd probably like jazz.  :rock-on:

I can't listen to that without thinking of Eddie Griffin in Undercover Brother. P/F did also have Eddie Hazel in it--very underrated guitarist.

I have liked the bass grooves in this song for quite some time.

Autobat, Absolutely love Graham central station. Loved his stuff with sly much better though. Funk is without a doubt the best grooving music, just makes you want to get involved in whatever's going on.    :blob7:
