Indeed.  Just like that, except the drama was around parts choice, routing, binding and finishing.  I laughed, I cried, I jonesed for a lester. 

But seriously, a great thread and a monumental effort for a great gift.

Whoa. What a great Dad. Lotsa work involved in that build - from scratch - and lotsa thinking about what his daughter liked...Good info on that Thread too about weight relief models.
